Open Integrations → External systems → Catalogs. Choose the data section and select Connect API. You can view the imported records in Business data.
Read data from your system or a product feed. First check the address and review the columns; data will update hourly after you confirm the connection.
1. Catalog source
Paste the HTTPS URL that returns your catalog as JSON. Get it from your system’s API documentation or developer, not the storefront address.
Ask the person who maintains your store or system for a read-only key and the catalog URL. The address must return data rather than a storefront, sign-in page or documentation page. Keep the key in its separate field.
Use the example below as a guide; replace it with your own address.
https://api.example.com/products
For a product feed, select that source type and use a direct file link. Enter a username and password only if the feed requires them.
2. Access
Paste only the key, without the Bearer prefix. The key is stored encrypted and is never shown again.
Bearer is selected by default. Change this only if your system’s documentation specifies X-API-Key or an api_key query parameter.
Check and preview
Choose “Check and preview”. Review the returned columns before choosing “Connect”. Checking alone does not connect the catalog. If the address or key is rejected, correct it and check again. Your selected key method is kept.
