Business modules: bookings and support requests

Connect a booking calendar and a shared queue of support requests so your team and AI employees can work with them together.

Modules add working sections for your team to your account: a booking calendar and a shared queue of customer questions. First connect a module for the business, then allow AI employees to use its actions.

Where to find it

Open “Modules” in the top menu. The “Business modules” page has two cards: “Appointments and bookings” and “Support requests”. The corner of each card shows the module's state: “Not connected”, “Connected” or “Paused”.

What each module gives you

“Appointments and bookings” — booking customers for services and on-site visits, and reserving accommodation. Once it is connected, you get:

“Requests” — teamwork on customer questions:

When “Appointments and bookings” is connected, a “Calendar” item appears in the top menu. While the module is not connected or is paused, this item is not in the menu. With the “Requests” module, the “Inbox” section opens on the “Requests” tab, and all chats stay on the “All conversations” tab.

How to connect a module

  1. Open “Modules”.
  2. On the card of the module you need, click “Connect”.
  3. If the business has no AI employees yet, the card offers “Create your first AI employee?”. Click “Connect and create an AI employee” or “Connect without AI employee”.
  4. Look at the “Business data” block. If it has a “Need to add:” list, fill in that data.
  5. For bookings, click “Set up bookings” and add services, specialists and working hours.

Service bookings need “Services and duration”, “Specialists and their services” and “Working hours”. Accommodation needs “Rooms or accommodation properties” (Rooms or accommodation units). The “Requests” module needs no extra data.

A new AI employee created together with the module gets access to its actions right away. Before it starts working with customers, choose a channel and response mode.

How to choose what to use

  1. On the card of a connected module, open “What to use”.
  2. Select the options you need:
    • for bookings — “Service appointments”, “On-site services”, “Accommodation booking”;
    • for support requests — “Conversations handled by a person or AI” and “Support requests”.
  3. Click “Save settings”.

At least one option must stay selected.

How to assign a module to an AI employee

A module is a shared section for the whole business. On its own, it does not allow an AI employee to book customers or create support requests. These actions are turned on for each employee separately.

  1. In the “AI employees” block of the card, click “Employee access”. If there are no employees yet, there will be a “Create an AI employee” button there.
  2. Select an employee and open the “Access” tab.
  3. In the “Modules and Actions” section, select the actions you need.
  4. Click “Apply”.

The “AI employees” block on the module card tells you how many employees already work with the module and what is left to do, for example connect a channel.

The “Configure with assistant” button opens “Setup assistant” with a task for this module already set.

How to pause or resume a module

  1. On the module card, open “Suspend module”.
  2. Click “Pause”.

Bookings, support requests and the team's access to history are kept, but AI employees stop performing new module actions. Saved data opens from the card with the “Open calendar” or “Open cases” button.

To bring the module back, click “Resume”. The section appears in the menu again, and employee access settings stay the same.
